About me
I like to think of myself as a technoprenuer who is wildly optimistic but with a firm eye on the ground. Some might call me a realistic idealist but i like to think of myself as a person who strive to do the best he can do in something meaningful and crazy.
I have an innate curiosity in technology and business that lead me to collect interesting experiences. I spent most of my early working years as a software engineer specialising in building enterprise software.
In recent years, , I worked as a technology commercialisation specialist in a government funding agency. The experience was rewarding as I played a big part in building the entrepreneurship ecosystem in Malaysia. Being involved in growing struggling start-ups into successful companies was a rewarding and motivating experience. It also helped me broaden my knowledge into different areas of technology and business.
One of my projects in Cradle Fund was to kick-start the early stage funding ecosystem. The introduction of angel clubs and the angel investment tax incentive was part of the strategy to create a more conducive ecosystem for entrepreneurs – a passion that is still rooted deeply in my heart.
Presently, I am part of a young and exciting start-up call Soft Space. I’m glad to join the crazy people in Soft Space who strive to create something great in the payment industry. While the journey ahead might be unclear, but I’m deluded enough to believe that things would work out and I would get to help create a crazy company that make waves in the industry.
This blog documents my thoughts and serve as a life journal. If I post something here that is insightful than great. But it does not represent the thoughts, intentions, plans or strategies of my current company.
